The Road to Autonomy Indices are published by AUTNMY AI, Inc. ("Licensor"). By accessing, viewing, or interacting with any Index, Index Value, or the underlying website, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all access to the website and the Indices.

1. Definitions

Index or Indices

The Road to Autonomy Robotaxi Index, The Road to Autonomy Autonomous Driving Licensing Index, The Road to Autonomy Autonomous Trucks Index, and The Road to Autonomy Delivery Bots Index, together with any index later published under The Road to Autonomy Indices name.

Index Value

Any score, level, or data point produced by an Index, including, but not limited to, current and historical values, the time series formed by them, any heatmap, activity tracker, or composite tracker derived from any Index or Index Value and published under The Road to Autonomy Indices name.

Methodology

The inputs, source selection, weights, formulas, scoring logic, and computation process used to produce Index Values.

Marks

The names The Road to Autonomy, The Road to Autonomy Indices, and the name of each individual Index, together with associated logos and brand elements.

2. Ownership

• The Indices are the property of Licensor. Each Index and Index Value are a protected compilation and are owned by Licensor in full.
• The Methodology is a trade secret. It is not published, not licensed, and not disclosed under any tier of access described here.
• The Marks are trademarks of Licensor. Nothing on this page grants any right to use the Marks except as expressly permitted.

3. Permitted Free Use

Personal and Occasional Reference

You may view any current published Index, Index Value, or Indices on the public Indices pages solely for your own individual, occasional, and manual reference at no charge. This free tier applies only to manual browsing via a standard web browser by a single user. It does not permit systematic, recurring, automated, or firm-wide institutional utilization for corporate research, internal database population, or commercial decision-making, all of which require a commercial Internal Use License.

Media and Research Quotation

You may copy, quote, or display a current Index or Index Value verbatim in commentary, research, or reporting, provided you (1) attribute it to the relevant Index by its full name, (2) do not present it in a way that implies endorsement by Licensor, and (3) do not alter, remix, or build upon it. Attribution must read in the form "The Road to Autonomy Robotaxi Index" or the equivalent full name of the Index quoted.

AI and LLM Surfacing

Public search engines, large language models, and AI answer agents are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to crawl, index, and surface the current public Index and/or any Index Values. This license is strictly conditioned on: (1) prominent attribution to the relevant Index by its full name; (2) a direct, functioning hyperlink to the source page on indices.roadtoautonomy.com wherever a value is shown or used in a user-facing output; and (3) full compliance with any technical restrictions implemented by Licensor, including but not limited to robots.txt directives, automated rate limits, or specialized API headers. This license does not permit use of any Index or Index Value as training data for any model, nor does it permit assembling or caching repeated readings into a historical series, private database, or analytical archive. Licensor reserves all rights to license any Index or Index Values as training data separately.

Limitations

Free use is limited to the current value. It does not extend to bulk historical time-series extraction, redistribution to third parties via API, or any use described under Prohibited Use.

4. Prohibited Use

Without a separate written license from Licensor, you may not:

• Redistribute, republish, resell, or sublicense any Index or Index Value to any third party.
• Access the Indices, any Index, or Index Value by automated means to systematically extract, harvest, or compile historical Index Values into a private database or competing time series. This does not restrict the public AI and LLM surfacing expressly permitted above.
• Reverse engineer, reconstruct, or attempt to derive the Methodology, including its inputs, weights, formulas, or computation logic, from any Index or Index Values or any other source. If any part of the Methodology is independently deduced, reverse-engineered, or mathematically replicated through statistical or quantitative analysis of the Index Values, you are strictly prohibited from publishing, commercializing, or utilizing such replicated methodology or data for any competitive or commercial purpose.
• Create any product, index, benchmark, or derivative work based on or referencing any Index or Index Value.
• Use any Index or Index Value as the basis, reference, or benchmark for any financial product, structured product, basket, fund, note, or trading strategy, whether offered publicly or privately.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any attribution, notice, or seal associated with an Index or Index Value.

5. Commercial Licenses

Use beyond the Permitted Free Use requires a written license from Licensor. Licensor offers the following tiers. Terms and pricing are not published and are set per agreement.

Internal Use License

The right to use any Index or Index Values, including the time series, within your organization for research and decision-making. No external display or redistribution.

Redistribution License

The right to display any Index or Index Values to your own clients or within your own published research, with required attribution to the relevant Index.

Benchmark License

The right to reference an Index or Index Values as the basis or benchmark for a financial product, fund, basket, note, internal benchmark, or trading strategy. Priced as a share of referencing assets or revenue rather than as a flat fee.

Indemnification for Financial Products

Any licensee utilizing an Index or Index Value as a reference, benchmark, or component of a financial product, fund, basket, note, or trading strategy (whether under a Benchmark License or in violation of these terms) agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Licensor, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (1) the performance, marketing, or operation of such financial product; and (2) any claims brought by third-party investors, clients, or regulatory bodies concerning losses incurred or decisions made in reliance upon the Index or Index Values.

6. Verification

Each Index and Index Value is computed by Licensor and cryptographically sealed under RFC 3161 using independent timestamp authorities. A public verification tool and audit trail are available at indices.roadtoautonomy.com/verification.

You may verify the integrity and timestamp of any published Index or Index Value. Verification confirms that a value was produced by Licensor at the stated time and has not been altered. It is not a representation about the investment merit of any asset and does not imply any endorsement.

7. No Warranty

The Indices are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Licensor makes no warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose. Licensor is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on any Index or Index Value.

8. Not Investment Advice

The Indices, each Index, and any Index Value are informational benchmarks. They are not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or other instrument. Access to an Index or Index Value does not create any advisory, fiduciary, or other relationship between you and Licensor.

9. Benchmark Administration

Licensor does not act as a benchmark administrator for any user until a Benchmark License is executed. Use of any Index or Index Value as a regulated benchmark without such a license is prohibited.

10. Changes

Licensor may update these terms. The current version governs all access from its effective date. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. The state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
